Therapy for young people

Therapy for young people, also known as child therapy or adolescent therapy, focuses on addressing the emotional, behavioural, and mental health issues of children and teenagers. The therapy is designed to help young people develop coping skills, improve their emotional regulation, and strengthen their resilience.

At our practice, we believe that children have the innate ability to heal and grow, and we work collaboratively with their families to foster positive change. Our therapists are trained and experienced in working with children of all ages and using a variety of evidence-based approaches such as play therapy, art therapy, cognitive-behavioural therapy, and family therapy to help young people better understand and manage their emotions.

We create a warm and welcoming environment where your children can feel safe, comfortable, and supported to express themselves and develop resilience. We use activities and games to help develop new skills and coping strategies. We can help children and adolescents address issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief & loss, academic stress, ADHD, behavioural issues, social skills and family conflict. Contact us to arrange an appointment or discuss your needs.
