About us

A safe space for change and growth

We are a team of dedicated psychotherapists, counsellors, and family therapists who believe that both past and present relationships shape who we are. Our therapy is rooted in attachment-based therapy, systemic counselling, and evidence-based approaches, which help to promote healing and well-being.

Words to Inspire

The more securely connected we are, the more we can reach out to others and create community.

Dr. Sue Johnson

Dr Sue Johnson has been an influential therapist in developing Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), one of the most research-backed and effective approaches to relationship therapy. Her work has transformed how we understand and address emotional bonds, particularly in couples, by emphasising the science of attachment theory — the idea that human beings thrive in secure, emotionally connected relationships.

Her attachment-based approach has also informed work with individuals and families, highlighting how early relational experiences shape our emotional health throughout life. Through decades of research, clinical practice, and training, Dr. Johnson has helped shift therapy from simply managing symptoms to fostering emotional connection. This is what we strive to foster — deep, long-lasting emotional connections.

What people Say

Ms B

Couples therapy

"I never thought my husband and I would ever need therapy. After meeting with Evonne, my husband and I genuinely grew closer in a way I could never imagine. There was such a safety and balanced approach that Evonne took with both of us and we came out of our sessions enlightened and hopeful for our relationship."

Ms W

Individual therapy

I am a survivor of complex trauma [that] affected the way I saw myself, my relationships and even my attitude towards work. Emotionally, I was very shut down. A trauma-informed therapist trained in Somatic Experiencing, Yvette has a good understanding of trauma physiology and helped me slowly understand, release and manage my somatic symptoms. I feel so much more alive now and have come a long way in my recovery journey.

Ms M

Counselling and health coaching

"I did a few counselling sessions with Claudette right after the pandemic when I was at my lowest. Her 20-plus years of experience as a psychologist truly shows. I’m very grateful. She’s definitely rare with her certification in functional medicine health coaching, and she was able to guide me on some aspects of physical health and how they correlate with mental health. See her, and you’ll truly appreciate the professional she is."
