Chee Huey is a qualified counsellor who supports individuals in regaining confidence, reconnecting with themselves, strengthening relationships, and creating a hopeful path forward. She has worked with clients navigating a range of challenges, including relationship difficulties, life transitions, stress, anxiety, mood concerns, and issues with self-confidence.
Her approach is warm, supportive, and collaborative – always guided by the client’s pace and priorities. She aims to empower each person to move toward the life they want to build.
With over two decades of experience as a full-time HR professional in both the public and social service sectors, Chee Huey understands the complexities of workplace stress and organisational dynamics. She brings this insight into her counselling work, offering thoughtful support to those facing career and workplace-related challenges.
She has also worked with individuals managing more complex concerns such as schizophrenia, grief and loss, caregiver stress, and adjustment to chronic illness.
Chee Huey believes everyone has the strength and resources to grow, think and behave differently in ways they had not imagined before. To help her clients construct their own meaningful change, she treats all with unconditional positive regard, warmth and empathy. Chee Huey is available for consultations on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday lunchtime or 6 pm – 8 pm.
