Eng Choon is qualified systemic family therapist with over 20 years’ experience working with mental health. She has a keen interest to work with couples with a variety of relational issues and at different stages of their relationship. She can conduct therapy sessions in English and Mandarin.
She has worked with patients with a variety of mental health issues like depression, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder or personality disorder, and helped families going through grief and loss, parenting difficulties, gender dysphoria, work stresses and other relational issues.
Eng Choon has experience working as a secondary school teacher, as a senior medical social worker and family therapist at IMH, and as a rehabilitation counsellor. She has also conducted training and supervision for junior social workers and is currently a trainer for social services and healthcare providers. She believes in providing a safe therapeutic space and working collaboratively with her clients to find healing and create change.
